Well, my grandmother had a serious of small strokes over the weekend. It affected that part of the brain that controls sleep. She was basically non-responsive Saturday, but she woke up on Sunday. It's hard to understand her when she talks but she has equal strength on both sides and can understand and respond to questions and commands. My father thinks she's getting better each day, so we will see. I do think that this is the end of her driving, even if she gets back home. If she has a condition similar to narcolepsy, they won't want her behind the wheel.
